Description

One of the only appetizers I’ve ever made that is always a hit! Simple almost to the point of being ridiculous. Cream cheese, chili, and sharp cheddar cheese are combined to make an amazing dip! Perfect for tailgates, parties, or just to munch on with friends! So simple and it offers a combination of amazing flavors!

Ingredients

  • 2 blocks Regular Cream Cheese (8 Ounce Blocks)
  • 2 cans (15 Oz. Size) Chili Without Beans (I Use Hormel)
  • 2 bags Sharp Shredded Cheddar Cheese (8 Ounce Bags)

Preparation

Soften cream cheese in microwave. Spread cream cheese carefully into two 8 inch pie plates. (You can use disposable pie plates if you prefer). Spread a generous layer of chili over each cream creese layer. Sprinkle a generous amount of sharp cheddar cheese over the chili. (No chili should be visible after cheese is on.)

Bake in a 350 degree oven for approximately 25 minutes or until top is hot and bubbly! Serve with tortilla chips, Fritos, or toast points! Be ready to have lots of compliments thrown your way!

I love this stuff! I’ve been making it for the last 5 or 6 years. It’s also good if you’re looking for some spice to add small diced jalapenos on top of the cheese!
