Description

This is my most sought after recipe for dip. This is a smoky, bacon, chili cheese dip that’s great with veggies, chips or pretzels. This will make an awesome addition to your Super Bowl spread.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Dried, Minced Onions
  • 1-¼ teaspoon Granulated Garlic
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1-¼ teaspoon Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoons (Rounded Teaspoon) Cayenne Pepper
  • ½ teaspoons Cumin
  • 1-¼ teaspoon Cheddar Cheese Powder (I Buy This In The Bulk Isle)
  • 1 Tablespoon Bacon Bits
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise (Best Foods Or Helman's - No Miracle Whip Or Sandwich Spreads)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream. I Use Light.

Preparation

Measure out all of the spices and the bacon bits and put them into a bowl. Mix well and set aside.

Measure mayonnaise and sour cream into a medium bowl and add the spice mixture. Stir until well combined.

Chill at least two hours before serving. Serve with chips or veggies!

This recipe makes two cups of dip. I usually make the spice mix and use only 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 cup sour cream with half of the spice mix. And I save the other half for another time.
