Description

Try these Buffalo Chicken Balls at your next tailgate or dinner party.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CHICKEN BALLS:
  • 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • ⅓ cups Red Hot Sauce
  • 1 pound Ground Chicken
  • 1 whole Large Eggs
  • ½ cups Celery, Minced
  • ½ cups Onion, Minced
  • ¾ cups Bread Crumbs
  • ¾ cups Blue Cheese (optional)
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • FOR THE BUFFALO SAUCE:
  • 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • ⅓ cups Red Hot Sauce

Preparation

Preheat oven to 450ºF.

1. For the chicken balls, melt the butter and hot sauce in small sauce pan and set aside. Combine ground chicken, large egg, minced celery, onion, bread crumbs, blue cheese, and salt and pepper. Use hands to combine all ingredients and pour in the hot sauce mixture. Use a wooden spoon to stir in the hot sauce mixture. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes so the hot sauce mixture can get absorbed in the meat.

2. Take a baking sheet and pour the vegetable oil on top. Make sure that oil is spread evenly on the baking sheet. Begin to take the meatball mixture and roll into meatballs the size that you would like them. Place them on the baking sheet touching one another. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes or until meatballs are firm and cooked throughly. Once finished, set aside.

3. For the Buffalo sauce, melt the butter and hot sauce in a small sauce pan. Dip the meatballs in the sauce and serve.
