Description

I can’t cook. I’m not being humble here, just honest. But I CAN make this (which is a testament to how easy this really is).

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Pretzel Sticks
  • 1 package (1 Oz. Packet) Dry Ranch Dressing
  • 1 bottle (16 Oz. Bottle) Orville Redenbacher Butter Popping Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Pepper

Preparation

Whisk the non-pretzel ingredients together and then pour them over the pretzels. Mix well.

Let it sit for 10 minutes. Mix well again. Let sit for 5 minutes. Mix. Wait another 5 minutes. Mix.

Then transfer the pretzels into large Ziploc bags (I use gallon bags – two of ‘em), and leave the tops open for 2 hours. Then put them into new Ziploc bags (leaving the oil behind). Seal the bags and you’re good to go! No cooking involved—that’s why I can make these.

You can easily do half batches, but I prefer to make a bag for myself and one to give away. Also, the pretzels are best after 2 days. By that time, all of the oil is absorbed into the pretzels.

Love these! (Sometimes I substitute dried dill weed for the lemon pepper:)

These indeed are the Best.Pretzels.Ever. I left off about 2-4 oz of the oil and omitted the lemon pepper and added chili powder, cayenne, and a little taco seasoning. I mixed 1# of sticks and 1# of waffle sqaure pretzels. Thanks for sharing! I would never have thought of using the popcorn oil!

These are fabulous! Have already made them more times than I can count. My neighbors begged me for the recipe too. I add a little garlic powder to the mix as well from time to time.

Addictive, I must have these as a staple at all times for my husband, children, and any random people for whom I provide food. The best part for me is that they are so easy! Thank you for your miracle pretzels!
