Description

Garlicky and cheesy, these baked egg roll wrappers make super fast, easy and delicious snacks.

Ingredients

  • 5 whole Egg Roll Wrappers
  • 3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 pinch Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Italian Herb Blend
  • ½ cups Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Put the wonton wrappers onto a cutting board and cut each of them into 4 smaller squares.

Drizzle the olive oil onto a non-stick cookie sheet and place the wrappers in one layer on the sheet. You may need to do this in batches if your sheet isn’t large enough for 20 at a time. Once you have them all laid out, pick each one up and flip it over so that it is lightly coated with oil on each side of the wrapper.

Sprinkle each cracker with garlic powder and the herb blend, using as much as desired. Put a small pile of cheese on top.

Bake for about 6 minutes and check on them, turning the cookie sheet around in the oven so they bake evenly. From there, check every 30 seconds or so, and continue baking until lightly golden brown and crispy. Be careful: it literally takes 30 seconds to go from perfectly done to “as crisp as a ninja throwing star”.

Easy and delicious crispy version of a cracker. I have used various spices or herbs for topping.
