Description

Tired of the same chickpea hummus? Try using edamame to give hummus a new twist!

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Frozen Edamame, Shelled And Thawed
  • ¼ cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Lime Zest, Finely Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, Minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Tahini
  • 1-½ teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Thai Basil
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil, Or More As Needed

Preparation

Add everything except for the olive oil to a food processor. Process for 2-3 minutes, until well blended.

Keep the food processor running and slowly pour in the olive oil, adding more if needed.

At this point, taste the hummus. You can add more lime juice, Thai basil, or garlic if desired. Season with salt to taste!

Serve with pita chips and cut up vegetables.

Would you believe I have 3 garden rows of soy beans (green and black)? I saw this recipe and can’t wait to try it with fresh soybeans. Thanks for the recipe!

This hummus is extremely savory and unique! A wonderful variation on your standard hummus. If you like edamame, you have to give this hummus a try!
