Description

These English muffin appetizers are to-die-for! Whenever I bring them to a party – multiple people always want the recipe. Please try them – they are so easy and so yummy!! (photo to come)

Ingredients

  • 1 package (6-count) English Muffins, Cut In Half
  • 1 jar Kraft Old English Cheese Spread ( 5 Oz Jar)
  • 5 ounces, weight Can Of White Chicken, Shredded
  • 1 stick Margarine Or Butter
  • ½ cups Bacon Bits
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1-½ teaspoon Mayonnaise

Preparation

Combine all ingredients and then spread on halved English muffins. Freeze the muffins until spread is hardened. Then remove from freezer and cut muffin halves into quarters and return to freezer until ready to serve.

When you are ready to serve, broil for 5 minutes or until light brown.

Oooo that sounds like an interesting variation – I bet my husband would love it with shrimp!

I have made these with a can of baby shrimp also! I’d omit the bacon and maybe replace with chopped scallions.
