Pumpkin is everywhere this time of year, as we all can’t help but notice. I tend to get a little bit overloaded with pumpkin recipes before I’ve even had a chance to make very many. I’m always looking for fresh, new things to do with pumpkin, and this Pumpkin Tiramisu from TK member Tina of Dessert for Two stopped me in my tracks.
This target=”_blank”>Sausage Breakfast Bagel Strata from our wonderful member Justine would be great for company and can be assembled the night before. I love the idea of a breakfast strata made with bagels. Looks darn delicious. Hope you enjoy some yummy breakfasts this weekend!
It’s Friday! Not just any Friday, too. It’s the fifth and last Friday of August, the Friday before a long holiday weekend, and for many, the last Friday of their summer vacation. It’s a Friday that needs something extra special, so enter chocolate and marshmallow creme and cream cheese and pretzel buns. As if we needed another reason to enjoy s’mores, Stephanie completely takes it up a notch or twelve with these S’mores Pretzel Hand Pies.
Speaking of sinful indulgences, take a look at this recent recipe from TK member Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Popper Stuffed Pork Chops. Pork wrapped in pork, stuffed with 2 kinds of creamy cheeses, and coated with barbecue sauce. Six ingredients and less than an hour in the oven. I can’t think of a better way to send you off into the weekend.

This No Churn Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream from our lovely friend Anita is a special treat indeed. It’s simple to make, and there’s no custard to cook. You don’t even have to worry if you don’t have an ice cream machine, or if you’re like me and have stored your ice cream bowl somewhere in the basement and never remember to stick it in the freezer the day before. The cream cheese and condensed milk give it nice body and substance, the ice cream stays smooth without the churning.
