This, my friends, is like a BLT on steroids: Burrata BLT with Spicy Mayo. It even loses the ‘L’ part of the beloved BLT acronym—lettuce—and brings in peppery arugula instead. Then Justine ups the ante by whipping up a spicy, tangy mayo to go with it.
You would think that bacon would be the star of any sandwich, especially one named after it. But this time, the addition of burrata shares star billing. There’s nothing like fresh mozzarella stuffed with more fresh mozzarella and cream to hold a sandwich together. I think this updated classic sounds perfect for weekday lunch this week—every day, every week.
