The weekend is upon us, and as far as I’m concerned, it’s about time! You know what an October weekend means: folks will be planted in front of the television watching some kind of ball being thrown or hit or kicked. This weekend we’ve got NFL games, college football, soccer, tennis, golf … I heard there may or may not be a baseball game thrown in there too, but I’m temporarily blocking that out. (Thanks a lot, Detroit.)
Today I thought I’d throw out a few snack ideas that are perfect for watching the game—or watching someone watching the game. There’s a little for everyone here: spicy, savory, creamy, crunchy, and yes, vegetarian snacks that even hard-core carnivores will love.

Have a great weekend everyone!

My favorite piece of cookware is my cast iron skillet! I have many other very expensive cookware, yet I prefer to use my inexpensive, but well loved cast iron skillet whenever I can.20
